However, for cancer patients, no useful modality has been proved beneficial to treat the same. Matrix Rhythm Therapy (MaRhyThe) is a new therapeutic approach, with minimum or no side effects, that has demonstrated to restore the good tissue resonance and proved relatively safe to be used in cancer patients for pain relief. This case report presents a 65‑year‑old female suffering from rectal cancer, who underwent low anterior resection procedure, with complaints of difficulty to walk and a large bed sore on a sacral area. Twelve sessions of MaRhyThe demonstrated a significant improvement in terms of reduction in pain and decubitus ulcer size and improved ambulation.

To see or download the whole study: A Case Report – Application of Matrix Rhythm Therapy (MaRhyThe) for the Treatment of Decubitus Ulcer in Cancer

Indian Journal of Physical Therapy and Research, 2021, Volume 3, Issue 1, January-June 2021, Page No: 56-59, available online at: www.jiptr.org

Eine Fallstudie: Die Anwendung von Matrix-Rhythmus-Therapie (MaRhyThe) bei Dekubitalgeschwür bei Krebspatienten Autoren: Varsha Huddar, Renu Pattanshetty, Department of Oncology Physiotherapy, KAHER Institute of Physiotherapy, Belagavi, Karnataka, India

[14

post-2666","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-fallstudien
["de","en
["GET
