International Conference on Controversies in Neuropathic Pain<\/strong>
\n23 \u2013 24 October 2019, Munich<\/em><\/p>\n

Neuropathic pain is a common and disabling condition. Chaired by Prof. Nanna Brix Finnerup, Denmark, the aim of this conference is to provide a platform for discussions of controversial and burning issues in the field of neuropathic pain to bridge this gap. There will be ample time for discussions between speakers and delegates.<\/p>\n

Interesting is also the fact that the FBSS patient in this case study was already on a waiting list to get a spinal cord stimulator (SCS) \u2013 a treatment approach which is invasive and not yet backed up with robust evidence based. At the time he was introduced to Matrix Rhythm Therapy he had limited mobility and was walking with crutches, disabled and under pain medication. After just 3 months non-invasive Matrix Rhythm Therapy he was back into an active life style.<\/p>\n

The topics at the conference will also include central versus peripheral pain mechanisms, translational barriers, challenges in preclinical and clinical assessment, new treatment targets, and the role of patient stratification for treatment.<\/p>\n
